Farm Vision Board—A Farm
I created this vision board back in 1989, in our home in Michigan. Our main goal was to somehow purchase a farm. We wanted to be self sufficient. We knew a farm could do that and it would help teach our kids to how work and the kids would learn bucketloads of common sense and learn to be responsible. We didn’t know where, nor how we would accomlpish that. The first image in the left in the upper right corner of the photo of Nathan’s birthday party, you can see a piece of the first vision boad I made. I included a homeschool logo from a homeschool conference I had attended because My intent was to homeschool our kids. This is the only photo I have of the original vision board of the farm we wanted. The original vision board had a blue sky in the shape of continents, Which I had found in a Forbes magazine and pasted in the blue sky, then sketched a timy plane flying through the sky. Because I had no photo of the vision board, I asked AI to create and image of a farm surrounded with abundance with an airplane zooming through clouds in the shape of the continents. My vision and intent was to live on a farm and for the Day Family to travel the world together.
My vision board worked!

Second Visoin Board That Worked—A Walk-in Amazon Rainforest Diorama Vision Board
Learning about the rainforest was fun and exciting! Studying about the raiforest created a desire to go to a real reainforest. After we finished the rainforest in our house, everyone in our family wanted to go to the Amazont. I asked “myself,” “How in the world am I going to get all eight of us to the Amazon rainforest, for cheap?” Two years later, there we were, for nearly a year, for cheap!
This rainforest walk-in diorama took us to Ecuador two years later!
